Born in 2010, INKBIRD was originated from two kite-chasing boys who held full spirit of technologies.
The development of human being’s civilization started with word-of-mouth communications and has been thrilling until today because of the advent of the quill-pen.
The quill-pen is made of BIRD feather/quill and used for writing with INK. From the middle ages to the 19 century, it had been used as the writing tool to record every significant progress of human being’s civilization. During that period, almost all of the literary works, technological breakthroughs and human being progresses could not be happened without it.
Inspired by the history of quill-pen, the founders of INKBIRD named their brand starting with the word INK to encourage the development and continuity of the company.
From 1897 to 1899, The Wright brothers had been observing birds flying. Finally in 1903, they flew the world's first successful motor-operated airplane under the witness of the whole world. Since then, The spirits of chasing freedom and flying have been deeply branded in the human being’s mind. The Wright brothers have been inspiring worldwide countless entrepreneurs and innovators, including the founders of INKBIRD, so they named their brand ending up with the word BIRD to motivate their solid steps of chasing innovation and freedom.

Bluetooth 5.0 Connectivity: The ITH-21-B adopts advanced Bluetooth 5.0 technology, so you can control it with your smartphone and remotely monitor the indoor temperature and humidity changes at an obstacle-free distance of up to 70m/230ft. You can customize the temperature and humidity comfort ranges in the app according to your family's physical quality condition, to confirm whether the indoor temperature and humidity are comfortable or not, ensuring a healthy and safe living environment for your family.
High Measurement Accuracy: It is equipped with Swiss-made precision sensors from world-renowned Sensirion, which are more accurate, more stable and more reliable. Its temperature measurement accuracy reaches ±0.2°C (±0.36°F) in a wide temperature range of -20°C-60°C (-4°F~140°F) and humidity accuracy reaches ±2% in a humidity range of 0%RH-99%RH, making it a better choice than most temperature and humidity detectors on the market.
2-Year History Storage & Export: The device itself can store up to 300 days of offline temperature and humidity data. The exact data capacity varies with the recording intervals, 1min/2min/5min/10min, which can be selected on the INKBIRD app. All data is automatically uploaded to the app via the Bluetooth connection and you can view 2 years of history on the app graph and export the required data to your computer via email for further study of indoor temperature and humidity.
15+ Months Battery Life: With the two AA batteries supplied, this indoor temperature and humidity monitor can run for over 15 months at a time. There is no need for repeated recharging or frequent battery replacement, which is more convenient and environmentally friendly.
