Switch modes automatically: INKBIRD IHC-200-WIFI supports humidification and dehumidification modes and switches between the two modes automatically, easy and convenient for humidity controlling and monitoring.

Alarms for safer: the alarm of INKBIRD IHC-200-WIFI will be triggered once the detected humidity exceeds the set values or its limit value or once the sensor occurs faulty performance and the alarm can be turned off by pressing any physical button of the device or can be turned off on our mobile phones. It will be much safer and more efficient for application contexts.

Range and accuracy: its humidity measuring range is 10 ~ 99% with its relative humidity accuracy of ± 3% RH ~ ± 5% RH.

Humidity calibration: INKBIRD IHC-200-WIFI supports humidity calibration for more accurate measurement and control based on our practical application contexts.

This is my second Inkbird Humidity Controller

Following my recent experiences with the Inkbird Humidity Controller, I felt compelled to share my insights on this product. This is my second purchase of a humidity controller from Inkbird. It's important to note that my first unit did not last without issues.

Durability and Build Quality
My initial Inkbird humidity controller eventually failed due to moisture penetration into the device. This seems paradoxical for a device specifically designed to regulate humidity. After a visit to the electronics store, it was evident that there was visible rust formation on the chip, indicating moisture ingress. For a device used in humid environments, the lack of waterproofing is a significant drawback.

Functionality
Aside from the durability issues, the Inkbird Humidity Controller generally performs well while operational. It allows users to accurately set and regulate humidity levels, which is crucial for various applications such as in grow rooms, storing sensitive materials, or even at home for maintaining a comfortable indoor climate.

User Experience
The interface of the Inkbird is quite intuitive and user-friendly. Setting up and specifying desired humidity levels is relatively straightforward, and the device effectively does its job as long as it remains intact. The ability to maintain specific humidity levels is definitely a plus.

Conclusion
While I appreciate the functionality of the Inkbird Humidity Controller, I am disappointed in the build quality, particularly the inadequate protection against moisture. For a device designed to operate in humid conditions, it is critical that it withstands these conditions. Therefore, potential buyers should consider this aspect before making a purchase. Hopefully, Inkbird will address this issue in future models, as the potential is clearly there.
